clasp pendant

We are so thrilled by all of the collages that have been created using the theme “The Architecture of Fine Jewelry” that we had to share a few more.

Screen Shot 2014-06-28 at 11.16.45 PMWe love the emphasis on architecture and the skillful pairing of the tunnels and staircases with our tubetti necklace in polished sterling silver in this collage created by Joy (above). The inclusion of the Captivity earrings in oxidized sterling silver & stainless steel and the Clasp pendant in oxidized sterling silver & diamonds is a perfect complement to the bright sterling silver Clasp bracelets.

We really want to hang out with this cool girl.  The collage is so striking and we love the bling paired with our oxidized sterling silver jewlery.  The sparkly outfit and sunglasses works so well with our diamond Plaid bracelet and diamond Clasp pendant.

Another collage we just had to feature because of its striking simplicity:

This stunning set features our jewelry paired with an Acne dress and Jimmy Choo pumps.  It’s cool, sophisticated and edgy.  And the jewelry works so well even though each item is from a different collection.  That’s the beauty of EnA – all of the different collections are meant to coordinate.  In this case, the sterling silver Spine necklace with an 18k gold clasp looks great with our Captivity earrings in oxidized sterling silver and stainless steel and our Plaid bracelet in oxidized sterling silver and diamonds.  Stay tuned for more and visit our Polyvore page to see collages that we have created…

We wanted to share with you some of our favorite sets created on Polyvore using EnA Fine Jewelry.

Screen Shot 2014-06-25 at 5.13.34 PMThis collage, from our friend Jenny, perfectly captures the architectural qualities of EnA.  We love the geometrical pattern of the white dress and how well it pairs with our Spine pendant in sterling silver on a black silk cord as well as the Captivity earrings and sterling silver stackable Revolve and Iris bangles.

Another favorite look is from Janette and it prominently features our agate, gold and diamond tassel pendant.  The chic and mod women in black and white are just the right models for EnA.  This assemblage also combines a mix of metals including the sterling silver Tubetti earrings and the oxidized (blackened) and 18k gold Captivity necklace.  She also chose to feature the striking look of oxidized sterling silver and diamonds with our Plaid bracelet and Clasp pendant.

Screen Shot 2014-06-25 at 5.41.40 PMWe also really love the creativity of this collage created by Elena.  It features a lot of our 18k gold and semi-precious pieces including garnet, citrine and rutilated quartz, as well as our Nautilus hoop earrings and Sphere drop pendant.  The Clasp earrings in oxidized sterling silver and the Module necklace in oxidized sterling silver, stainless steel and an 18k gold clasp worn by the model, provide a nice complement to the gold pieces.

In honor of Red Paw, we have released two special edition pendants for the month of August. Our popular sterling silver SPINE Pendant and CLASP Pendant have been strung up on a red suede cord to celebrate Red Paw’s mascot color.  Dressed up or down, these pendants will add flair and panache to any outfit. The pendants’ bold and vibrant cord will also marry well with fall and winter’s jeweled toned and dark colored clothing palettes.

Red Paw Special Edition EnA Catalog 2013

Meet Jen Leary:

What is your profession?

I am the founder of RED PAW Emergency Relief Team.

Please tell us about your charity/organization and why it is so important to you?

Red Paw has been a work in progress for many years and is a direct result of my experiences on the fire ground with the Philadelphia Fire Department and the American Red Cross.  Time and time again, I saw pets left at a fire scene with no organization to provide emergency care after the disaster.

Two specific incidents sparked Red Paw’s birth. Six years ago, a two-alarm fire in Center City resulted in the death of two dogs and a cat because there was not a procedure in place to help them. Responding with the Red Cross, I was there and saw the owners carrying the dogs in their arms screaming for help, but no one was there to help them. I used my personal vehicle to rush them to Penn Veterinary Hospital (while the owners were giving the dogs oxygen with equipment borrowed from a medic unit) where they later died.

The second incident occurred in January 2011 during a three-alarm fire at an apartment complex in West Philly. Cats were being taken out of the building in laundry baskets and rushed to the shelter without crates or emergency vet care. Dozens of cats were trapped in the building for weeks afterwards.

Shortly after that fire, I brought my proposal for Red Paw to the American Red Cross — to work in conjunction with their responders when there are pets on scene. Eight months later, Red Paw was born. Humans have the fire department and the Red Cross to provide emergency assistance and now their pets have Red Paw!

Why do you love EnA Fine Jewelry?

It’s simple but eye catching. In my line of work, you can’t really wear a lot of jewelry. I never know when a call is coming in and if I’ll be climbing through a collapsed building or a fire dwelling trying to rescue someone’s pet. The last thing I need is a piece of jewelry that I have to worry about taking off  before I respond or that is too bulky and will get in the way. With EnA’s jewelry, it’s casual enough to keep on and go about my day at a meeting or on a disaster scene.

What is your favorite EnA jewelry piece or collection?

The CLASP Pendant on a red (of course), suede cord!

Any other thoughts or information you would like to share?

I am honored to be a part of EnA’s Cover Girl Campaign and proud to associate with a company that gives back to it’s community!

De Novo: An Established Relationship that Feels Fresh

“De novo” is a Latin expression that means “afresh,” “anew,” and “from the beginning.”  This Latin term aptly describes our relationship with the lovely contemporary fine jewelry gallery named de novo.

de novo is situated in a cutting-edge part of the country that never loses momentum or has a slow season. Located in the heart of downtown Palo Alto, CA, de novo’s overall aesthetic and appeal meshes well with the area’s forward-thinking, innovative, and business savvy surroundings and people. The gallery is modern, sleek, and uncluttered in a way that naturally lures in techies and entrepreneurs possessing an eye for detail, design, and craftsmanship. de novo also has a knack for making many of the artists that they represent shine. Each designer’s collection is so well edited and neatly displayed that even Steve Jobs would be proud. The hand-painted calligraphy signage for each artist is also exquisite.

Karen Moustafellos recently visited de novo to see the store firsthand and present the latest designs to the de novo team. Cherry LeBrun, the owner of de novo, was impressed with EnA’s design evolution and enthusiastic about the new line-up of jewelry that would be showcased in the gallery. Here are some of the highlights from the collection:EnA Retailer's Spotlight: de novo - EnA Jewelry Collection Sampling

We are excited to see how the new items sell over the next couple of months!  If you happen to be in the Bay area, we suggest you visit de novo.  It is truly worth the trip.
