April 2013 Catalog EnA Cover GirlWhat is your profession?

I am a former attorney and the current (and very proud) Executive Director of WOMEN’S WAY.

Please tell us about your charity/organization and why it is so important to you?

For 35 years, WOMEN’S WAY has been a courageous leader on issues and policy that impact women, girls, and families.  We tackle many complex and intertwining issues including: women’s health, domestic and community violence (including human trafficking), workplace equity and economic self-sufficiency for women, and the empowerment and leadership development of girls. We address these issues through three key programs: Advocacy/Public Policy, Public Education, and Grantmaking.  Our approach is both short and long-term. The Grantmaking addresses the immediate needs of women and girls on the streets.  Our Advocacy and Public Education efforts address the underlying systemic problems that make our grants necessary in the first place.

Why do you love EnA Fine Jewelry?

The aesthetic of EnA jewelry is very understated and elegant, but it is also very distinct and unique – and the collections are all so cohesive. But what I love most is that the jewelry is perfect for work or even a more formal event.  My new EnA necklace, the Spine Pendant, looks fabulous with a t-shirt and jeans too!

What is your favorite EnA jewelry piece or collection?

I’m in love with the Spine Pendant.  I bought it on a black silk cord because I thought it would look funky with more casual clothing.  I have been surprised to see how wonderful it also looks paired with a suit.  It is definitely eye catching!

Any other thoughts or information you would like to share?

EnA is a great company.  It has supported, donated money, and provided a critical forum for a number of wonderful causes and organizations.  I am very proud to be representing a company that has such a clear social conscience.

A portion of our proceeds from our April sales will be donated to Women’s Way.
